I am Vasia Balaska

Vasiliki Balaska is a Post-doctoral Fellow at Laboratory of Robotics and Automation at the Department of Production and Management engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace. She received her PhD in development of semantic mapping methods and their roles in robotics(2021). She has been awarded with the IKY fellowship (2018) for her postgraduate studies. She holds a Diploma in Production and Management Engineering (2017) from the Department of production and management engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace,Greece. Her research interests span the themes of semantic mapping, navigation and self-localization.
